He has published three poetry collections, Sıkça Sorulan Sorular [Frequently Asked Questions], Tek Andirlik Asklar [Single Poem Love] and Takas [The Exchange]. He published a literary work on Nâzim Hikmet, the most prominent representative of the Turkish modern literary style. He worked as an editor at the magazines Nikbinlik [Optimism] and Sanat Cephesi [Art Front], he now is an editor of Çevrimdışı İstanbul [Istanbul Offline]. A poet, an architect, born in 1981 in Istanbul, he studied architecture and philosophy, teaches the history of architecture at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul. “I am against making poetry a sacred cow. Sometimes it is considered as something untouchable, which has a completely different nature compared to other ways of writing. From my very personal point of view, poetry is one of the possible ways in which to express oneself,” he says.
